An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated on 9/18/2024 and completed on 10/8/2024) in response to a self-report received by the licensing office on 9/18/2024. The inspector reviewed 1 staff record electronically on 9/24/2024. This inspection included document review, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The center is required to establish and implement procedures for appropriate supervision of all children in care. The centers procedures state staff are not to pull or jerk a child in the direction they want them to go. A staff member was observed pulling a child by their hair when the child was acting out.
Plan of Correction: Staff #1 was removed from the classroom and subsequently dismissed from employment. Ongoing trainings on proper handling of children as well as how to deal with stressful situations in the classroom.
