8VAC20-790 Subsidy Regulations for Family Day Homes

An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 8/6/24 from 12:15pm to 1:25pm in conjunction with a renewal inspection (see that inspection report for details). The two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Two caregiver records were reviewed for documentation of the mandatory Virginia Preservice Training, Health & Safety Update training, and current certification in First Aid and CPR. There are children currently enrolled with diagnosed food allergies and their records were reviewed for allergy care plans. The last lockdown drill was documented on 6/10/24. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
