When staff are supervising children, they shall always ensure their care, protection, and guidance.
On 2/6/2026 at approximately 10:45am, Child #1 (3-year-old) received a serious injury while Staff #1 turned to monitor a child in a restroom across the room. Child #1 walked over to a table where a hot griddle was stored and laid their hand on top of the hot griddle. The griddle was being used for a cooking activity. Child #1 was burned on the back of the hand.
