Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site code compliance inspection was initiated and completed on April 17, 2025. The on-site inspection began at 10 a.m. and ended at 10:43 a.m. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 10 children present and 1 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children's records and 1 staff record on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable code sections, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on May 1, 2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

The center must ensure that all areas of the premises accessible to children are free of obvious injury hazards. 1. In the pre-k classroom, cough drops were observed on the counter within reach of children. 2. In the pre-k classroom, a large container of hand sanitizer was observed in an unlocked cabinet under the sink, within reach of children. 3. The playground used by the pre-k class contains metal climbing equipment that has rusted and the S-hooks on the swings were open more than the thickness of a penny.
