Inspector Notes
An announced initial inspection was conducted on February 12, 2024 from 11:15am to approximately 12:15pm. The applicant intends to operate a family day home for up to 12 children, ranging in age from 6 weeks old to 12 years. The provider?s record was reviewed The entire home, to include areas where children will be cared for, bathroom facilities, kitchen and the outside play area were inspected. First aid and emergency supplies, documentation of emergency practice drills, the emergency preparedness plan and required postings were reviewed. There were no violations identified during the inspection. A six month conditional license is recommended to allow the applicant the opportunity to demonstrate continued compliance with the Standards for Licensed Family Day Homes. All future inspections will be unannounced. The first unannounced inspection will be conducted within 60 days from the date the license is issued.
