Inspector Notes

An announced initial inspection was started in the family day home on March 21, 2024 from 3:10 PM until 5:00 PM and was concluded on March 27, 2024. The sample size consisted of 1 provider and 2 household members record. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and provider interviews, the provider did not ensue medication for caregivers and household members, shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Evidence: One prescription medication was observed in an unlocked cabinet above the kitchen counter in the kitchen.
Plan of Correction: Removed medicine right away and placed it in a locked cabinet.
