Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on 8/21/24, as a part of the conditional licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:00 am and ended at 12:00 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. CDC: There were nine children present and five staff. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and five staff records on-site. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation the center failed to ensure that staff shall wash their hands with soap and running water before and after a diaper change.
Evidence:
Two staff changed diapers and did not wash their hands before and used hand sanitizer following the diaper change.
One staff used hand sanitizer before preparing a bottle.
Plan of Correction: Staff will be retrained in handwashing requirements.
