During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was completed on 10/2/2024 The on-site inspection began at 9:30 am and ended at 10:30 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were (5) children present and (2) caregivers; the point total was (17). The inspector reviewed (3) children?s records and the caregiver records were current.
This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Long term prescription and non prescription medication may be allowed with written authorization from the child's physician and parent.

A long term non prescription medication for child #1 was onsite, the physician authorization was obtained but the provider did not have parental written authorization.
Plan of Correction: The parent will complete the information for medication authorization.
Standard 8VAC20-800-830-C
Documentation shall be maintained monthly of emergency evacuation drills.

The provider did not document monthly fire evacuation drills, the last documented drill was dated 6/26/2024.
Plan of Correction: Fire drills will be conducted monthly and documented on the form
