During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on 10/7/2024 and completed on 10/7/2024 as a part of the conditional licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:25am and ended at 11:40am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 16 children present and 3 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 3 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

The following nonmedical emergency supplies shall be required: One working, battery-operated radio in each building used by children.

The battery-operated radio did not have a charged battery.
Plan of Correction: The center will ensure the batteries for the radio are charged.
Standard 8VAC20-780-60-A-8
A written care plan is required for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic and the steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction.

Child #1, who has been enrolled for 7 weeks, has a diagnosed food allergy and did not have a written care plan in their file.
Plan of Correction: The center will obtain the medication action plan for the child.
