Inspector Notes

An initial announced subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Two licensing inspectors were onsite from approximately 10:00am until 11:00am. The provider stated there are no children currently enrolled. The licensing inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, and medication. One caregiver's record was reviewed.

A monitoring inspection was also conducted on this date. The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliances with subsidy regulations, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Based on observations and interviews, the vendor did not ensure the first aid kit contained the minimum requirements.

Evidence: The first aid kit did not contain a digital thermometer. During interview, Caregiver #1 confirmed she did not have a digital thermometer in the first aid kit or anywhere else in the home.
