Inspector Notes

An unannounced non mandated inspection was conducted on 6/25/2024 from 12:00 to 12:45.
This was a focused inspection to confirm that issues at the initial conducted on6/5/24 had been corrected. Some of the violations needed to be corrected before an initial license could be issued. The provider was present at the inspection with 4 children in care as well as her own child. A total of 9 points. The children were observed finishing up lunch and getting ready for rest time. The lunch was spaghetti and meat sauce and milk was offered as a drink. Lots of interaction between the provider and children observed during the inspection. A violation notice was given to the provider along with this inspection summary.

The provider failed to have a daily attendance for some days.
Evidence: The provider did not have written attendance for 8/24 and 8/25.
Plan of Correction: I will make sure i take attendance every day.
Standard 8VAC20-800-500-F
Based on the review of the outside play space the provider has a trampoline.
Evidence: A small trampoline with a handle bar is located on the playground used for children in care.
Plan of Correction: I will remove the trampoline to the other side of the yard so only my own son can use it after hours.
