During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 7/31/25 and completed on the same day, as a part of licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:45 and ended at 12:10. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 6 children present and 1 caregivers; the point total was 13. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 4 caregiver/household members records on-site.
This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-770-40-D-5
A person 14 years of age and older must have a search of the central registry and make the information available for regulatory purposes.

The provider has a household member that turned 14 over 3 months ago and the household member is missing the Central Registry check.
Plan of Correction: I will send in the paperwork for my daughter.
Standard 8VAC20-800-140-B-4
The provider must have Current certification in first aid from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, American Safety and Health Institute, or the National Safety Council, or current first aid certification issued within the past three years.

The providers first aid and CPR certificate expired on 3/13/2025.
Plan of Correction: I will sign up for the class.

Potentially poisonous substances, materials and supplies such as, but not limited to, cleaning agents, disinfectants, deodorizers, plant care chemicals, pesticides, and petroleum distillates shall be stored away from food in areas inaccessible to children.

An air freshener was found on a shelf in the playroom accessible to the children.
