During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on March 11, 2026, and completed on March 11, 2026, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 2:40 pm and ended at 3:45 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were seven children present and two caregivers; the point total was 16. The inspector reviewed nine children?s records and three caregiver/household member(s) records on-site.
This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-90-A
Repeat
Before a child may attend the family day home, the provider shall obtain documentation that the child has been adequately immunized. Documentation for immunizations for child #1 was not available.
Plan of Correction: Per the provider: I will ask the parent to provide the immunizations.
Standard 8VAC20-800-90-C
The family day home shall obtain documentation of additional immunizations once every six months for children under the age of two years. Child #4, under two years of age, did not have documentation of additional immunizations that were due one month ago.
Plan of Correction: Per the provider: I will ask the parent to provide updated immunizations.
