8 VAC 20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes

During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI.

Information gathered during the inspection determined (1) non-compliance with an applicable standards or law, and violations was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Within the first 90 days of employment all caregivers shall complete Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff sponsored by the Department of Education.

A certificate of completion of the Virginia Preservice Training for Staff #2 was not conducted within 90 days of their start date.
Plan of Correction: This 10-hour training will be completed and the certificate will be placed on file.
