During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on March 11, 2025. The on-site inspection began at 9:20am and ended at 10:45am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There was one child present and one caregiver; the point total was two. The inspector reviewed one child?s records and four caregiver/household members records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the home, interviews, and observations. The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-330-A
A landline telephone, excluding a cordless or cell phone, shall be available, operable and accessible during the family day home's hours of operation. An operable landline telephone is one that does not require electricity to operate.

A landline telephone was not available, operable and accessible during the time of the inspection.
Plan of Correction: I don't know where my husband moved the telephone. We never use it, but my daughter is going now to buy a new telephone.
Standard 8VAC20-800-790
A 911 or local dial number for police, fire, emergency medical responders, and the regional poison control center shall be posted in a visible area close to the telephone.
The emergency telephone numbers were not posted in a visible area close to the telephone.
