Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 4/2/2026, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 9:45 AM and ended at 11:00 AM. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 8 children present and 2 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 2 staff records on-site.

Standard 8VAC20-780-320-B
Each restroom area provided for children shall have sinks with warm running water that does not exceed 120 degrees F.
The warm water temperature measured in the sink in the children's bathroom registered 128 degrees.
Plan of Correction: Provider response
The water temperature at the water heater will be reduced to ensure that it does not exceed 120 degrees F. Routine checks will be conducted to ensure compliance.
Standard 8VAC20-780-60-A
Repeat violation
Each center shall maintain and keep at the center a separate record for each child enrolled which shall contain the street addresses of two persons to be contact in an emergency if a parent cannot be reached.
The street addresses were not included for the two emergency contact persons in the record provided for child 3.

Parents will be required to add complete street addresses for emergency contact persons.
