Inspector Notes

An announced, on-site initial inspection was initiated and completed on October 2, 2024. The on-site inspection began at 10:00am and ended at 12:00pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were zero children present and one staff member. The inspector reviewed zero children?s records and two staff records on-site.

This inspection included document review (i.e. Injury logs, policies and procedures, emergency drill logs, medication administration logs, authorization forms), tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The required first aid kits are required to include at a minimum: scissors; tweezers; gauze pads; adhesive tape; band-aids, assorted types; an antiseptic cleansing solution /pads; thermometer; triangular bandages; single use gloves such as surgical or examination gloves; and the first aid instructional manual.

The first aid kit did not contain at least two triangular bandages.
Plan of Correction: The supplies have been ordered. I will check the delivery date and re-order if necessary.
