During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An announced, on-site initial inspection was initiated and completed on October 15, 2024. The on-site inspection began at 10:00am and ended at 12:00pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were three children present and one caregiver; the point total was eight. The inspector reviewed three children?s records, one caregiver record, and two household members' records onsite. This inspection included document review, a tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 10/25/24. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Areas and furnishings of the family day, outside, shall be maintained in a safe condition.
There was poison ivy growing in the backyard, which is where children will play. The poison ivy was accessible to children, posing an allergic reaction.

The required emergency supplies shall be in the first aid kit at the family day home.
The first aid kit contained one triangular bandage. The minimum requirement is more than one.
