During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on 03/25/2026. The on-site inspection began at 9:50 am and ended at 11:15 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 5 children present and 1 caregiver; the point total was 14. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records, and 4 caregiver/household members records on-site.
This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-320-B
Child-resistant protective covers shall be installed on all unused electrical outlets and surge protectors accessible to children under five years of age.

There was an uncovered electrical outlet in the room used by the children; all of the children in care were 5 years of age and younger.
Plan of Correction: Will cover the outlet today.
Standard 8VAC20-800-630-B
When time out is used it shall not be used with infants and toddlers.

Child 1 (age 23 months) was placed in time out during the inspection.
Plan of Correction: Will no longer use time out for the child.

Caregivers shall wash their hands with liquid soap and warm running water after diapering a child.

Caregiver 1 did not wash their hands with liquid soap and running water after changing a child?s diaper.
