Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site initial inspection was initiated on November 12, 2024, and completed on November 12, 2024. The on-site inspection began at 9:00 am and ended at 10:00 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were no children present and one caregiver. The inspector reviewed one caregiver and one household member(s) records on-site.
This inspection included document review (i.e. Injury logs, policies and procedures, emergency drill logs, medication administration logs, authorization forms), tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

A landline telephone, excluding a cordless or cell phone, shall be available, operable, and accessible during the family day home's hours of operation. An operable landline telephone is one that does not require electricity to operate. Cordless or cell phones may be used in addition to the landline telephone.

A landline telephone was not available in the home.
Plan of Correction: Per the provider; I will purchase a landline phone.
