The center shall ensure that areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, are maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition. There was an approximate 4" area of rust on the bicycle merry-go-round on the outside playground. The rust was within reach of children when riding the equipment.
Plan of Correction: The portion of the equipment will be painted.
Standard 8VAC20-780-550-B
The written emergency preparedness plan shall include accommodations for infants, toddlers and children with special needs in reference to evacuation, shelter-in-place and lockdown procedures. The center's emergency preparedness plan did not address accommodations for infants, toddlers and special needs for any of the potential situations.
Plan of Correction: The emergency preparedness plan was modified during the inspection to include this information.
