Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site initial inspection was conducted on 2/13/25 from 10:20 am to 11:15 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 3 children present and 1 caregiver; the point total was 6. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records, 1 caregiver's record, and 3 household member's records on-site. This inspection included document review tour of the family day home, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Wood burning fireplaces and associated chimneys shall be inspected annually by a knowledgeable inspector to verify that the devices are properly installed, maintained, and cleaned as needed. Documentation of the inspection and cleaning shall be maintained by the provider.
There is a wood burning fireplace in the basement which is not in use. An inspection for the fireplace and chimney was not maintained.
Plan of Correction: The inspection will be conducted.
