Inspector Notes

An announced, on-site initial inspection was initiated on 04/17/2025 and completed on 04/21/2025. The on-site inspection began at 10:00am and ended at 11:30am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were zero children present and three staff. The inspector reviewed three staff records on-site and electronically on 04/21/2025.

This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and measurements.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-270-A
The center shall ensure that areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, are maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition. The baby gate divider was broken and would allow Infants access to two steps.
Plan of Correction: Today, I am installing a new gate / divider that will be permanently in place, dividing the infant classroom from the two steps. Pictures were sent to the licensing inspector showing the completed work.
