During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above, to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on June 5, 2025. The on-site inspection began at 9am and ended at 11:45am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 62 children present and 12 staff. The inspector reviewed 7 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-270-A
Areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a safe and operable condition. The television in the 3-year-old classroom was on a table and not securely fasten which poses as a tipping hazard to the children in care.
Plan of Correction: The center responded with the following: During the time of the inspection, the television was removed from the classroom. A work order will be placed for the television to be mounted and securely fastened in the classroom.
