Inspector Notes

An announced, on-site initial inspection was initiated and completed on July 7, 2025. The on-site inspection began at 4:00 pm and ended at 5:05 pm The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were no children present. The inspector reviewed one caregiver record. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations and measurements.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-500-C
Stationary outdoor playground equipment shall be placed at least six feet from other obstacles. There is 4' of open space between the fence and the monkey bar ladder section of the stationary playset in the backyard.
Plan of Correction: They will not use the equipment until it is fixable.
Standard 8VAC20-800-770
Provider must have a weather band radio. The radio available during inspection was not a weather band radio.
Plan of Correction: A weather band radio was ordered.
