Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 09/08/2025, as a part of the conditional licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 7:05 a.m. and ended at 9:00 a.m. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 34 children present and 6 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations, and measurements.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Children?s hands shall be washed with soap and running water or disposable wipes before and after eating meals or snacks.

Children were observed not washing hands or using a disposable wipe before and after eating a snack.
Plan of Correction: Staff will ensure children wash hands or use a wipe before and after eating.
Standard 8VAC20-780-510-G
Medication shall be labeled with the child?s name, the name of the medication, the dosage amount, and the time to be given.

Medication 4, belonging to Child 7, was not labeled with the child?s name.
Plan of Correction: Staff will label all medication properly.
