Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site focused inspection was initiated and completed on 10/07/2025, as a part of Conditional licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 9:20a.m. and ended at 11:50a.m. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 5 children present and 4 staff. The inspector reviewed 4 children?s records and 7 staff records on-site. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

When food is brought from home, it shall be clearly dated and labeled in a way that identifies the owner.

Food was found in Class 2 that was not labeled with the date and name of the child.
Plan of Correction: Corrected during the inspection.
Standard 8VAC20-780-60-A
Each center shall maintain and keep at the center a separate record for each child enrolled which shall contain documentation of viewing proof of the child's identity and age.
Plan of Correction: The proof of identity will be brought by the parent and the required documentation will be included in the child's record.
