Areas and equipment of the center shall be maintained in a safe condition.
1. In the preschool classroom holiday lights were hung around the windows and in an area dropped down to the floor posing a strangulation hazard.

Plan of Correction: The lights that are hanging will be secured to the wall and out of reach of children by the end of the day. The doors are scheduled to be painted during Christmas break when kids are not in the building.

Hazardous substances shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
1. In the infant 2 room there was a bottle of bleach water and a can of disinfectant spray that were not locked.
2. Several classrooms had liquid air fresheners that were not locked but rather plugged into the wall.
