Inspector Notes

An announced, on-site initial inspection was initiated and completed on 9/09/2025. The on-site inspection began at 12:30pm and ended at 1:40pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were no children present and one caregiver. The inspector reviewed one caregiver/household member record on-site on 9/09/2025.
This inspection included document review, and tour of the home.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

A first aid kit must contain the minimum requirements to include an additional triangular bandage.

The provider's first aid kit was missing a 2nd triangular bandage.
Plan of Correction: I will order the triangular bandage today.
Standard 8VAC20-800-770
A working portable battery-operated weather band radio, and extra batteries shall be kept in a designated area and be available to caregivers at all times.

The caregiver had a wind up weather band radio that was not battery operated.
Plan of Correction: I will order the radio today.
