During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site non-mandated inspection was initiated and completed on 03/18/2026, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 9:30 am and ended at 10:15 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were no children present and one caregiver; the point total was zero. The inspector reviewed one children?s record and one caregiver 's record on-site. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The family day home shall keep a written record of children in attendance each day.

The provider could not locate the written record of children in attendance for the month of March 2026.
Plan of Correction: The provider will create a written record of children's attendance for the month of March and will maintain this record each day going forward,
Standard 8VAC20-800-920
When meals or snacks are provided by the family day home, the menu for the current one week period shall be dated, and be given to parents or posted or placed in an area accessible to parents.

The posted menu for the current one-week period was not dated.
Plan of Correction: The current weekly menu was dated immediately. The provider will ensure the posted menu is dated for future weeks as well.
