This chapter replaces 8VAC20-770, Background Checks for Child Day Programs and Family Day Systems; 8VAC20-820, General Procedures and Information for Licensure; and 8VAC20-830, Fee Requirements for Processing Applications. Inspector Notes
An announced, on-site initial inspection was initiated and completed on 2/3/2026, as a part of the conditional licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:30 am and ended at 12:20 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were no children present at the time of the inspection. The inspector reviewed staff records on-site and electronically. This inspection included document review , policies and procedures, emergency planning and policies, a tour of the facility, interviews, and measurements.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
