The center shall ensure that areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, are maintained in a safe condition. There was a crack in the lower section of a glass window in a toddler and two's classroom.
Plan of Correction: The facility responded: The landlord was contacted on 2/12 and will repair the glass week of 2/23-2/27. The area will be covered until repaired.
Standard 8VAC20-780-500-B
The diapering area shall having a sink with running warm water not to exceed 120F. The water temperature measured 130 F at the portable sinks in the infant room and toddler/two's classrooms.
Plan of Correction: The facility responded: On 2/12 the director located the thermostats on the sinks in the infant and toddler rooms and adjusted the temperatures to below 120F.
