Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on May 7, 2025 completed on May 7, 2025. The on-site inspection began at 12:05 p.m. and ended at 1:15 p.m. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 47 children present and nine staff. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and three staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews and observation.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on May 20, 2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

When playground equipment is provided, resilient surfacing shall comply with minimum safety standards.
The mulch around the playground equipment was about four inches deep in several areas and did not meet the minimum requirement of six inches.
Plan of Correction: Additional 3 inches of mulch added around play structures and looking at adding a barrier to contain mulch.
