Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.

A monitoring inspection was completed on February 22, 2022. There were 33 children present, ranging in ages from 2 years to 5 years, with 7 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies, and nutrition. A total of 3 children's records, 2 complete new staff records, and updates for 5 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined a non-compliance with applicable standards or law and the violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on the review of three injury reports and verification from the director, one child's minor injury report did not contain all of the required information.

Evidence:
1. The injury report for Child A did not contain the time the parent was notified of the injury. Date of the minor injury was 02/08/2022.
2. The director confirmed the time parent was notified had not been documented by staff.
Plan of Correction: The report will be corrected and in the future the staff will be sure to include the date and the time the parent was notified and the method which was used to notify the parent are all documented on the report.
