Inspector Notes
The inspector conducted an unannounced health and safety inspection on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM. Today?s census consisted of 25 children in care with 5 staff supervising. The inspector observed the children participating in music and movement, circle time, handwashing, and playing with various age appropriate table activities. The inspector inspected all 4 classrooms, playground, kitchen, and restrooms. Classrooms are equipped with various age appropriate materials. The center's first aid kit and non-medical emergency supplies were inspected and found complete. Liability insurance, health inspection, and drills were all in compliance. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were not found.
