Inspector Notes

The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced complaint inspection on 1/8/2024 in response to a complaint that was received on 12/28/2023, regarding allegations in the area of supervision and behavioral guidance. The inspector was onsite from 11:30 am until approximately 12:50 pm. Interviews were conducted with staff, records reviewed, and observations of the program were made relating to the allegation. The record for 1 child and 1 staff record were reviewed.

The preponderance of evidence does not support the allegations and the complaint has been deemed not valid. Non-related violations that were not part of the complaint were cited during the investigation. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on observation, the center did not ensure children?s hands are washed after diapering and toileting.

Evidence: Staff #1 was observed completing two diaper changes in the Twos and Threes classroom. Staff #1 placed the children on the floor without washing their hands.
Plan of Correction: Will talk to staff and remind them of procedures.
