Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted today between 12:00pm and 1:30pm. There were 3838 children present, with 9 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed playing outside, center time and getting ready for lunch. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards and violations were documented on the violation notice issued. Based on review of staff records, at least every two years from the date of the first initial screening, staff did not obtain the results of a follow up tuberculosis (TB).
Evidence
Staff #1 did not obtain at least every two years from the date of the first initial screening the results of a follow up TB.
Plan of Correction: Staff will obtain a follow up TB screening. We will make sure to track when the TB screenings are due.
