Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.

A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 11/01/2021. The supervisor was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 55 children present, ranging in ages from 17 months to 4 years old, with 12 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed.

Based on review of four staff records, the center did not have the the fingerprint results prior to hiring one staff member.
Evidence:
1. Staff #2 (Date of hire 7/15/2021) had fingerprint results dated 8/16/2021. The center did not have the results prior to hiring Staff #2.
Plan of Correction: In the future, if there is a problem with the field system, we will wait until we receive their email. Even if we are told over the phone the results we still wont let the teachers start.
