During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on December 18, 2024. The on-site inspection began at 10:30am and ended at 1:00pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 73 children present and 9 staff. The inspector reviewed 7 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on January 3, 2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

The center is required to have applicants and agents of applicants undergo a background check every five years.

The most recent fingerprint check for applicant #1 was overdue by one year and three months.
Plan of Correction: Fingerprints were done under sister school name. New fingerprints taken on 12/19/2024 for applicant #1
Standard 8VAC20-780-350-O
The ratio for balanced-mixed-age groupings of children shall be one staff member for every 14 children provided.

Staff #1 was observed supervising 19 children from approximately 11:43am until 11:48am.
Plan of Correction: Have staff meeting to discuss ratio compliance. Floater staff to fill in if a staff member needs to exit the classroom.
