Inspector Notes

A mandated renewal inspection was conducted on December 7, 2023 from 11:00am-1:45pm. There were 143 children in care with 24 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Children were observed eating lunch independently. In the classroom where lunch was completed, children were preparing for nap time and were reading books while teachers set up cots. Once cots were set up, children were observed laying quietly. Interactions between children and teachers were observed and deemed to be positive. A total of 10 child records and 10 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
