Inspector Notes
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 7/26/2022 from 10:30am to 1:00pm. 58 children were directly supervised by 17 staff in the Little School. 391 children were directly supervised by 110 staff in the summer camp program. 20 volunteers are also included in the camp. Summer camp and the Little School were inspected. The physical space (inside classrooms, playgrounds, the swimming pool, outdoor activity tents, horse stables and the zip line area), 5 children's records, 2 new staff records, evacuation drills, medications, training logs, injury reports and required posted documents were reviewed. Children were observed in outdoor activities (swimming, playing basketball, riding on the zip line, horseback riding, playing on the playgrounds), working on art projects, playing with age appropriate toys, participating in group activities and engaging with the staff. Developmentally appropriate materials were available in all classrooms. The documents for the swimming pool and the zip line were in compliance. The staffing of the pool exceeded requirements and the scheduling/management of the pool was comprehensive. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
