Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today between the hours of 9:45 am-12:00 pm. There were a total of 47 children with six supervising staff members present. Children were observed during snack time, handwashing, Montessori activities, and engaged in group activities. A selection of staff and children records, medications and other documents were reviewed. The physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records, and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Violations
2Evidence:
1. Documentation of emergency evacuation, shelter in-place, and lockdown drills did not contain required information. The documentation was missing the identity of the person conducting the drill, method used for notification of the drill, and problems encountered, if any.
Evidence:
1. Child #6, Child #7, Child #8, and Child #10 have emergency medication on site and are diagnosed with a food allergy. Child #6's, Child #7's, Child #8's, and Child #10's records did not contain documentation of a written care plan .
2. Staff #5 confirmed that a written care plan was not obtained for each child diagnosed with a food allergy.
