Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated on January 25, 2023 and concluded on January 26, 2023. There were 91 children present with 15 staff supervising including administrative staff onsite. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of child records and interview, the center did not ensure to obtain a copy of a written care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy.

Evidence: In Child#5's record, there was no written care plan found. Interview with staff confirmed the plan was not available for review during the inspection.
