Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 2/27/2024.There were 94 children present with 12 staff supervising and 2 administrators. The children were observed during morning circle time, teacher led activities, free play, and snack time. A total of 9 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 9:20 am and concluded at 11:30 am.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and staff interview the licensee did not ensure to maintain required staff-to-children ratios whenever children are in care.

Evidence: The required ratio for 3 year old children is 1 staff for every 10 children. The following classrooms were out of ratio at the time of the inspection.
1. Room #108 there were 11 children present with 1 staff member.
2. Room #110 there were 11 children present with 1 staff member.
Plan of Correction: Administrators will monitor classes more closely to ensure proper ratios.
