Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews (if applicable) and a virtual tour of the program (if applicable).

A subsidy inspection was initiated on September 7, 2021 and concluded on September 14, 2021. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, in one two of four staff records reviewed, the vendor did not ensure that staff who work directly with children shall complete the annual health and safety update course.

Evidence: The most recent health and safety update course for Staff #3 was completed in 2018 and the most recent health and safety update course for Staff #4 was completed in 2019.
Plan of Correction: Both staff will complete the refresher course.
