Inspector Notes

An unannounced code compliance inspection was conducted on 5/8/2024 from 9:15 AM to 11 AM. There were 78 children present with 13 supervising staff. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision and procedures. A total of 8 staff records were reviewed. Children were observed participating in a Mother's Day program, having snack and playing outside. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. Based on record review, the center did not obtain a fingerprint-based criminal history record check every five years for 1 of 8 staff reviewed.

Evidence:
1. The current fingerprint check results in the record for Staff #1 were dated 5/11/23. The preceding record check results in the record for Staff #1 were dated 4/11/2018.
Plan of Correction: The Center will ensure repeat background checks are obtained every 5 years.
