Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on February 14, 2023. There were 66 children present with 10 staff supervising. The physical plant, children's records, staff records, attendance logs, evacuation logs, medication and medication authorizations, first aid kits, injury reports, and menu's were reviewed. Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that hazardous substances shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Evidence:
In the PS-2 classroom, there were air fresheners in each of the bathrooms.
Plan of Correction: The air fresheners were locked away during the inspection.
