Inspector Notes
An in-person monitoring inspection was conducted on April 24, 2023 from 10:15am until 11:45am. Children were observed playing outside freely. Pre-K children were engaged in activities with their teachers. Transitional kindergarteners were observed working in small groups engaged in building blocks, puzzles, reading books, and reviewing letter recognition. There were 125 children in care with 18 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Violations
2Evidence: From 10:13am until 10:17am, there were 11 children with 2 staff.
Evidence: In the preschool classroom, at 10:15am, there were 25 children in care with 3 staff. At 10:23am, another child arrived bringing the total to 26 children in care with 3 staff supervising. At 10:33am, a staff member entered the classroom bringing the classroom into ratio.
