Inspector Notes

A mandated renewal inspection was conducted on March 14, 2024 from 10:15am-11:35am. Children were observed playing outside, working on an art project, playing with blocks and participating in circle time. There were 72 children in care with 13 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, hazardous materials were not kept in a locked place using a safe locking method.

Evidence: In the infant room, the cleaning and disinfecting products were observed on a shelf and not in a locked place.
Plan of Correction: Cleaning and disinfecting items were placed in a locked place at the time of inspection.
