Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted 2/22/2022 from 8:30am to 10am. There were 75 (Infants to 5 yrs old) directly supervised by 12 staff. The physical plant, 2 staff records, 4 children?s records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group and individual activities, arriving to care, circle time, listening to stories, and playing outside. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was a sufficient supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. The center was clean and organized. 2Evidence: Observed in the Discovery Preschool room, diaper creams on a bottom shelf of the diaper changing table, unlocked and accessible to children under 5 years of age.
Evidence: observed that the most recent violation notice posted was dated 12/11/20, when the most recent inspection was on 10/28/2021.
